  • Bell peppers: 1 red and 1 green, sliced into strips
  • Onion: 1 medium, sliced
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger: 1 tsp, minced (optional)
  • Vegetable oil: 2–3 tbsp

For the Marinade

  • Soy sauce: 2 tbsp
  • Cornstarch: 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper: 1/2 tsp
  • Sesame oil: 1 tsp (optional)

For the Sauce

  • Soy sauce: 3 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce: 1 tbsp (optional)
  • Brown sugar: 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper: 1/2 tsp
  • Cornstarch: 1 tsp mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
