Ingredients:

    • Pork shoulder or pork belly, thinly sliced or cut into small pieces
    • 3 stalks of lemongrass (tender parts only), finely minced
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 shallots, finely chopped
    • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon sugar (or brown sugar)
    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder (optional)
    • 1 tablespoon lime juice (optional)
  • For Serving:
    • Fresh herbs (like mint, cilantro, or basil)
    • Sliced cucumbers
    • Pickled vegetables (like carrots and daikon)
