Ingredients:
- For the Marinade:
- Pork shoulder or pork belly, thinly sliced or cut into small pieces
- 3 stalks of lemongrass (tender parts only), finely minced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 shallots, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar (or brown sugar)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (optional)
- For Serving:
- Fresh herbs (like mint, cilantro, or basil)
- Sliced cucumbers
- Pickled vegetables (like carrots and daikon)
