  • Vegetable oil: 2-3 tbsp (for sautéing)
  • Salt and pepper: To taste

For the Sweet and Sour Sauce

  • Ketchup: 1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar: 1/4 cup
  • Apple cider vinegar: 1/4 cup
  • Soy sauce: 2 tbsp
  • Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger: 1 tsp, minced (optional)
  • Cornstarch: 1 tbsp mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
  • Pineapple chunks: 1/2 cup (optional)
